The Dean’s Table: Community Connections is an experiential learning initiative designed to connect Bachelor of Commerce students with local industry leaders, alumni, and professionals. 

Forget the frustration of crowded career fairs or sending cold LinkedIn messages into the void. The Dean’s Table cuts through the noise to give you direct, warm introductions and quality small-group face-time with established industry professionals.

You’ll enjoy a structured, rotational networking environment optimized to maximize your connections and elevate your professional network with light refreshments included!

Seats are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Secure your seat at the table and register today!

While there's no strict dress code, you will be representing the ASB and networking with professionals. You will want to dress accordingly. Please aim for business casual and dress in a way that makes you feel confident and professional.

Attending will provide you with:

  • The chance to indulge in valuable conversations over complimentary refreshments and beverages.

The featured theme is the Future of Work with the following potential areas that will be discussed: skills that matter most, human skills in an AI-enabled world, lifelong learning, and emerging career paths. This theme directly redefines your education from a static set of rules to a continuous journey of adaptability. As AI automates routine data entry and basic financial or analytical reporting, your competitive edge as a business graduate shifts toward uniquely human strengths like strategic leadership, complex negotiation, and ethical decision-making.

Attending is completely FREE. Refreshments and beverages are provided by the university.
