Have you always wanted to participate in one of our research studies but don't know how to get involved? The following is a list of research projects currently looking for participants.

Babies and caregivers wanted to support occupational therapy student learning

Do you have a baby from birth to 18 months—or know someone who does?

We are inviting babies and their caregivers to take part in a relaxed observation session at our Edmonton, Calgary and Augustana locations. By joining us, you will help MSc in Occupational Therapy students learn about infant development and the everyday experiences of babies and their families.

What to expect

We will create a comfortable space with chairs, blankets and toys where your baby can play, move, snack and explore naturally.

Working in small groups, occupational therapy students will observe aspects of your baby’s:

• movement and motor skills
• play and sensory responses
• feeding and interactions
• responses to caregivers and other people

Students will also speak with caregivers about their routines, daily activities and experiences. Students will observe only and will not handle your baby.
