Offboarding

Offboarding Checklist

Fostering a consistent offboarding experience that prioritizes faculty and staff member support and appreciation throughout their transition leaves a lasting impression. Whether it is a resignation, retirement or transfer to another faculty or department, the Offboarding Checklist is designed to:

  • guide and support faculty and staff members as they navigate their transition out of their current role.
  • provide direction and support for effectively managing the offboarding process.
  • facilitate a seamless transition for all parties involved.

Roles + Responsibilities

Streamlined offboarding is a collective responsibility that requires collaboration between the faculty or staff member and the organization, with specific responsibilities falling to the faculty or staff member, the supervisor, dean, chair or delegate, the offboarding coordinator and the HR Partner. If you have questions about the offboarding process, please reach out to your HR Partner.
