The World of Digital Humanities

Here in Digital Humanities, we're proud of how international our program is. We bring together students, faculty and staff from all over the world to create a one-of-a-kind learning environment.

Blue markers on the map represent students, orange markers represent faculty and staff.

Some fun facts:

* Our student from Moka, Mauritius has travelled the furthest to come to Edmonton at 16,250 km. That's even more remarkable when you consider that Mauritius' neighbour, Réunion, a mere 20 km away, is the furthest you can be from Edmonton on the planet and still be on land!
* We span Canada from coast to coast, from Victoria BC to North River Newfoundland, a distance of over 5000 km
* It is farther to travel to Edmonton from Rio de Janeiro than to Edmonton from Beijing
