Tutoring and Drop-in Help
Do you need some help with a tricky homework problem? Are you looking for some additional explanation about material covered in your mathematics or statistics course? We are here to help!
Drop-in tutoring and homework help is free of charge! During Fall 2026 term, we will be offering drop-in help for 100- and 200- level mathematics and statistics courses both in-person and online during the following days/time:

The in-person help is available at the Decima Robinson Support Centre located in room 1-200 of University Commons.
The online drop-in help is accessible through the DRSC Canvas site.
For the 2026 Fall term, drop-in help begins on Tuesday September 8 and finishes on the last day of classes, Tuesday December 8.

We also offer flashcards for Math 102/125, Math 134, Math 154, and Stat 151/161. They are available for purchase on our departmental marketplace.
During peak periods, graduate students will be able to devote at most a few minutes to any one student seeking help. Here are a few tips on getting the most out of your visit:
- Be specific about the problem for which you are seeking help.
- Give the person helping you some time to read the problem.
- Be prepared to show the work that you have done so far, and try to articulate where you are getting stuck or what you do not understand about the problem.
- Do not expect the person helping you to simply show you how to do the problem; instead, be open to try the options that the person helping you suggests.
- If you have not yet attempted the problem then your TA will likely just ensure that you understand what is being asked.
