The 102nd Convocation of St. Stephen's College
Congratulations to the graduating class of 2026!
All are warmly invited to attend the annual convocation of St. Stephen’s College, at which we will celebrate the graduating students and confer degrees both earned and honorary.

The convocation ceremony will take place on the evening of November 16, 2026. A light reception will follow.
Ceremony Details
Location: The Arts Barn in Old Strathcona (10330 84 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB)
Date and Time: 16 November 2026, 7:00–9:00 pm
Registration: Registration is not required. This event is in-person, free, and open to the public.
Parking: Paid and unpaid parking is available in the area.
Other: The ceremony will be recorded and posted to the College’s YouTube channel following the event.
Honorary Degree and Convocation Address
St. Stephen's College is delighted to recognize Rev. Dr. Cheri DiNovo, CM, as the 2026 honorary degree recipient. Rev. Dr. DiNovo will deliver the convocation address, titled: “How to Change the World with No Power and No Money.”

Student Research Presentations
In the days preceding the convocation ceremony, many of the graduating students will deliver public presentations of their doctoral and master’s research. Details of these presentations are below. Colleagues, friends, family, and interested members of the public are invited to attend.

ABOUT CONVOCATION
The annual Convocation at St. Stephen's College is held in late October or early November. Convocation is a public celebration of the life and work of the College. It is an opportunity to gather students and their loved ones together with the broader community of St. Stephen's and the general public to celebrate each student's academic accomplishments. Convocation is also an opportunity to confer honorary degrees and awards upon persons who have made exceptional contributions of leadership or ministry in their faith community or to the broader public.
Convocation at St. Stephen's College is a full day event. In the afternoon, students deliver a public research presentation detailing their graduate work and their journey at the College.
