Level 1: Introduction to Cascade

Cascade is the new University of Alberta Content Management tool, allowing us to create and manage content for our website and pages. In the Introduction to Cascade, you'll learn what a CMS is, and the specifics of how Cascade works. We will cover how to log-in, access, and interact with the Cascade interface, including the dashboard and widgets, navigating around your site(s), and accessing specific pages and content. From there, you'll learn how to add a page, and then use the Rich Text Editor to insert basic content and media to that page. This will also include adding links, lists, and other content presentation tools. While adding this content, we will also talk about basic web design concepts and layouts.
