Adobe InDesign is an advanced page layout program used to create professional books, magazines, epubs, brochures and much more for print and digital publication. We offer four levels of InDesign training, covering everything from the basics to advanced typography and interactive publishing.

InDesign I - Introduction

This is an introductory course for those wanting to create professional looking documents with Adobe InDesign. The student will become familiar and comfortable with the InDesign environment while learning to use many tools, panels and techniques to develop, modify and output single and multipage documents for web and print.

InDesign II - Intermediate to Advanced

This course expands on the skills and techniques learned in Level I. The student will apply many new features and techniques that will help to automate the construction of complex multi-page documents so modifications may be done in an extremely efficient manner. They will also learn to integrate Photoshop, Illustrator and Bridge with InDesign to prepare, place and modify many different file formats for complete full circle workflow.

InDesign III - Typography and Page Layout
This course will introduce experienced InDesign users to the many advanced typographic features available in Adobe InDesign. The student will thoroughly explore formatting, alignment, spacing, breaks, tabs, tables, lists, drop caps, margins, columns, Open Type and become familiar with the many small but important typographic details. They will also apply page layout and grid system techniques to create balanced and professionally designed materials.

InDesign IV - Digital and Interactive Publishing

This course will introduce experienced InDesign users to the many interactive tools and features available in Adobe InDesign. The student will become familiar with the InDesign digital workflow and how that applies to the many digital publishing formats. They will learn to create animations, bookmarks, buttons, forms, object states and control layout as well as work with audio and video files and formats.
