This course will explore current trends and techniques used to develop leading edge visual designs while learning design fundamentals that can be applied to multiple mediums. The student will explore colour theory, typography, grid systems and layout techniques along with designing and building different types of small projects.

View Upcoming ClassesExplore the world of logo design and branding! In this course, students will explore the significance of a logo as part of the visual development of a brand. We will discuss the various types of logo styles and how to implement them successfully, along with design principles, colour psychology, font selection and more. Students will get hands-on experience with the logo design process by creating a series of logos for a fictional company.

Explore isometric design and learn how to add a 3-D appearance to infographics, icons, flowcharts, maps, illustrations and more! In this 3 hour condensed course, you will learn how to create an Adobe Illustrator template that can be used for any isometric illustration. The instructor will then walk you through 2-3 exercises, including icons, a flow chart and a small city illustration.

Infographics take complex information and distill it into engaging, easy-to-understand visuals. We see infographics everywhere, but have you ever wondered how they’re created? In this 3 hour course, we’ll discuss the various types of infographics and their uses, then use statistical information to create engaging, informative visuals in Adobe Illustrator.
