> Adjudication and selection will be done by an academic panel.
> Recipients will be announced in early March 2017.
Acceptance & Conditions
> Applicants will be notified if they have been nominated for an award and must confirm acceptance of the award; failure to do so will result in forfeiting the award.
> Award payments will be deposited into the award recipient’s Beartracks account by UAI prior to departure, once confirmation of registration/participation in the abroad experience is received and the pre-departure requirements are complete.
> Recipients will be required to:
> Attend a mandatory pre-departure/risk management session and register with UGo
> Submit a Returned Student Report upon completion of the experience
> Submit a risk management plan prior to receiving the Award
> Obtain research ethics approval prior to receiving the Award if undertaking a research project
> Submit a 500 word written commentary, as well as copies of boarding passes upon completion of the program
> Recipients will also be encouraged to participate in promotion and recruitment activities for education abroad programming.
