Educated Luncheon: Cows, Carbon and Grassland

Grasslands store carbon thus offsetting climate change and supporting biodiversity. However, they are also Canada’s most endangered ecosystem. In this session, Cameron Carlyle will discuss the relationship between cows, climate change, and grasslands in the Canadian Prairies to better understand some of the complexities of sustainable beef production.
