Wooden pallets, plastics and other unusual materials create art in "Peripheries"

MFA candidate, Joshua Wade, creates art out of industrial materials to explore legacy and power structures.

Erik Einsiedel - 01 March 2019

Combining hardened, industrial materials like wooden pallets with degradable items like paper and commercial caulking, MFA candidate Joshua Wade explores the juxtaposition of material purity to convey fragility and vulnerability. Peripheries is the final visual presentation for the degree of Master of Fine Arts in Drawing and Intermedia.

Peripheries runs February 26 - March 23, 2019 in FAB Gallery. Admission is free.
