Join us for a diverse evening of music, dance and poetry!

The first half of the concert features classical music composed by Joseph Bologne de Saint-George, dit ‘Chevalier de Saint-Georges’ (c. 1747-1799,) performed by Jean-Marc Bétrix, Guillaume Tardif, Yue Deng & Danielle Greene, violins;  Ethan Filner, viola; and Rafael Hoekman, cello.

Followed in the second half with Music, Dance, and Poetry from artists of the Caribbean and African diaspora. With Eric Awuah, Dance and Percussion; Stennie Noel, Percussion; Danielle George, Steel Pan; Noreta Lewis-Prince, Voice and Piano; Cherelle George, Dance; and Keston Gray, Dance.


On the occasion of Black History Month, we are organizing a 3-day international event February 14-16 2024, on the University of Alberta's North campus, entitled "Artists of the Caribbean Diaspora," including a screening of the feature film "Chevalier", along with symposia and a concert, in collaboration with artists from the Caribbean diaspora and beyond.
