Tenure & Promotion

Please join me in congratulating Jeff Birchall, Josh Evans, Monireh Faramarzi and Matt Steele-MacInnis, all of whom were unanimously awarded tenure and promotion at the Faculty of Science FEC meeting this Friday, November 6, 2020. I want to thank the members of our Tenure Evaluation Committee for their work in assisting Jeff, Josh, Monireh and Matt in preparing their T&P applications, and the departmental representatives (Sandeep, Damian, Dan and Tom C., respectively) who appeared in support of each of our tenure candidates.

We are exceptionally fortunate to be able to bring forward four such incredibly strong candidates, spanning such a diversity of fields of study, for tenure in a single year.  This is an accomplishment of which the entire department can be proud.  

Again - my sincerest congratulations to Jeff, Josh, Monireh and Matt.
