Ed Psych Student in Folio Magazine

Jasmine Nathoo, a PhD student in Ed Psych, is featured in Folio Magazine for her Arts-based research project which will help young Syrian women articulate the challenges they face, and the strengths and supports they’ve found.
From the article, “what stood out was that there weren’t a lot of supports for these students, and language barriers were making it challenging for them to access what was available,” Nathoo recalled. “And often, schools and educators wanted to help students but weren’t sure how to best do that.”
