YEG Industry Insights Sprint (YEGii Sprint)

Want to go on a field trip with the Experiential Learning team? Visit organizations in your industry of interest! On a YEGii Sprint, you’ll dedicate 3 hours of your day to visit an organization to learn more about their industries trends, hiring practices, day-to-day activities, and network with professionals.

A small group of students will be selected to represent the Alberta School of Business and will have the opportunity to meet executives, associates, and recruitment partners in the workplace.

 YEGii Sprints currently scheduled are:

FALL TERM 2025

  • October 15: AltaML
  • October 23: ATB
  • December 2: BMO

WINTER TERM 2026

  • TBD

These events are limited to current Alberta School of Business students only. Please note these events are for career exploration and networking purposes only, not to solicit employment.

This is a great information gathering and networking opportunity, and serves to provide information about corporate cultures, recruitment processes, and career trajectories to inspire students to move forward in their career. Specifically, each YEGii connects students with potential employers within Edmonton or the Capital Region to showcase the diverse array of career options that exist close to home.

Previous hosts to our YEGiis:

AIMCo, AltaML, Edmonton Elks, Edmonton Global, KPMG, Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG), PAND, and more!
