What is your role at the Glen Sather Clinic?

My role as a physical therapist at the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic is to treat a variety of injuries in all populations, as well as work within the multi-disciplinary clinics to provide patient care. In the past I have ran the Glen Sather FAST program.

What did you study and where? How long have you been at the Glen Sather Clinic?

After completing my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology I completed my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. I have taken additional training in powerlifting and strength and conditioning principles and have my Dry Needling certificate. I joined the GSSMC team in July of 2022.

What are your key areas of interest as a physiotherapist?

I enjoy treating all populations, but I have a specific interest in upper body injuries, running injuries, and teaching strength training. I believe an in individual and active approach to rehabilitation that can help people of any activity level achieve their goals.

What are your favourite ways to stay active?

I enjoy trail running and biking in Edmonton’s river valley as well as performing aerial arts at a local studio.

What has been your biggest accomplishment as a physiotherapist and/or athlete?

In 2021 I completed my first ultramarathon when I ran the North Sun Ultra that takes place in Edmonton’s trail system.

What days/hours are you at the clinic?

I work Monday through Thursday from 1-7 and Friday morning from 7-12.
