Your First Appointment

What to Wear

  • Appropriate footwear (such as running shoes)
  • Loose-fitting clothing (such as shorts, a t-shirt or sleeveless shirt)
  • Sports bra, if appropriate (especially for those receiving shoulder treatment)

What to Bring

  • Your Alberta Health Care Card to show the receptionist.
  • Your completed intake forms (see the list of forms on this page). Note that if you prefer, you can arrive 10-15 minutes early for your appointment and you will be given the forms to fill out in the waiting room.

Confirm Clinic Location

We have two clinic locations: one in the Kaye Edmonton Clinic and the second in the Saville Community Sports Centre. Please verify which location you booked before you arrive. You can find directions and parking tips on our location page.

When You Arrive

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.
  • Have a seat in the waiting room until you are called by one of our assistants.
  • Check in at the front desk when you arrive.
  • We are a high-volume specialty clinic and certain circumstances may arise that can cause clinicians to run behind. Please be prepared to possibly experience delays.

Payment

If payment is required, you will be asked to pay prior to your appointment. We accept cash, cheques, debit, and all major credit cards, as well as gift cards.

After Your Appointment

  • Follow-up sessions can be booked with our receptionists after your appointment, or you can book online again.
  • If your provider recommends an aid-in-recovery (e.g., brace, tape, rehab equipment), it may be available for purchase in our store. You are welcome to browse or ask for assistance at the front desk.

Missed Appointments or Late Cancellations Policy

Please note that missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
