2023 Celebrate! Teaching.Learning.Research Awards, profile of Abigail Isaac

Abby Isaac wrote a brilliant undergraduate thesis on the intersectional impacts of climate-induced migration, in the political science department and working under the supervision of IIS director Siobhan Byrne. Abby’s research is cutting-edge, deeply ethical, and contributes a new feminist analysis to emerging debates around racism and securitization in the International Relations field. This fall 2023, Abby will continue this research at Oxford University as a Rhodes scholar. Congratulations, Abby!
