Research

The John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre's faculty, adjunct members and students perform interdisciplinary research and investigate health ethics research in areas such as clinical practice, compassion, compassion fatigue, disability ethics, end of life care, gender issues, health policy, human rights, informed consent, mental health, moral distress, neonatology-perinatology, public health, relational ethics, reproduction, and transplant ethics. The interdisciplinary research is funded by a number of organizations such as the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) and Social Sciences and Humanities Council of Canada (SSHRC).
