Law Alumni & Friends Spring Reception
The Spring Reception is Law Alumni & Friends’ only annual fundraiser and is a longstanding tradition. The evening features a silent auction and funds important initiatives like bursaries, awards and summer internships for law students. Law Alumni & Friends hosted their 22nd Spring Reception and Silent Auction on May 25, 2023. This year, the chapter raised nearly $40,000.
Law Alumni & Friends are a volunteer-led group of law graduates who, since 1998, have supported their alumni community, current students, the Faculty of Law, and the University of Alberta through a variety of initiatives and programs. The vast majority of programming is funded through the net proceeds of this annual signature event.
