Visiting Students (non-Exchange)

Students enrolled at other universities may be able to attend the University of Alberta for one term or one academic year as a visiting student. The purpose is usually to receive course credit that can be transferred back to their degree at their home institution.

Note: Visiting students are not part of an exchange and pay tuition fees at the University of Alberta. See the part of our website dedicated to Incoming Exchange Students if you are coming to UAlberta under a formal exchange agreement.
