Cross Cancer Institute

The Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton is the comprehensive cancer centre for northern Alberta and a lead centre for the province-wide prevention, research and treatment program. The Cross Cancer Institute provides advanced medical and supportive cancer care, patient and professional education, and conducts research through the Alberta Cancer Research Institute. The Alberta Cancer Foundation raises charitable donations in support of the Cross Cancer Institute.

Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital

The Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital is an acute care facility, located northeast of Edmonton, providing 24-hour emergency services as well as a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services, including cataract and general surgery. Community Health services include: Public Health, Home Care Addiction and Mental Health, Audiology, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nutritional Counseling.

Grey Nuns Community Hospital*

With 267 beds, the Grey Nuns Community Hospital provides a full range of services including a 24-hour Emergency Department, general and vascular surgery, intensive and cardiac care, general medicine, children's health, women's health, diagnostics, mental health and ambulatory care. The 14-bed tertiary palliative care unit is world-renowned for its delivery of care and teaching practices and is home base for a regional palliative program.

Leduc Community Hospital

Located 20 km south of Edmonton, the Leduc Community Hospital is a 70-bed hospital that combines the best of small town friendliness with state-of-the-art medical and health care.

The hospital provides inpatient medical and surgical care, general and specialized day surgery, rehabilitation programs, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, etc.), specialized outpatient clinics, and a 24-hour emergency department.

Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute*

The Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute in Edmonton is a world leader in complex cardiac care and surgery. With a collaborative approach, our team of highly skilled cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, cardiac care professionals, researchers and educators are advancing the prevention, detection, treatment and study of cardiovascular disease.

Misericordia Hospital*

The Misericordia Hospital is an acute care facility that has 259 beds and offers 24-hour Emergency care, general medicine and surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, intensive and coronary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, womens' health, diagnostics and ambulatory care. It is also home to the Institute for Reconstructive Sciences in Medicine (iRSM), a world-class facility for reconstruction of the face, head and neck.

Royal Alexandra Hospital*

The Royal Alexandra Hospital is located in the heart of Edmonton and provides general, specialized medical and surgical health services. As one of Alberta's largest surgical facilities, the hospital plays a lead role in the expansion and development of minimally invasive surgery.

Stollery Children's Hospital*

The Stollery Children's Hospital is committed to meeting the ever-changing health needs of children in an environment that integrates excellence in the delivery of care, education and research.

Highly-skilled child health professionals from around the world have made the Stollery Children's Hospital a well-recognized center for specialized pediatric services.

Sturgeon Community Hospital*

Located just north of Edmonton, The Sturgeon Community Hospital boasts 144 beds and provides a wide variety of health services to the community of St. Albert and surrounding area. As a community hospital, the Sturgeon's focus is on providing the best care in a comfortable, modern and friendly setting.

University of Alberta Hospital*

The University of Alberta Hospital is one of Canada's leading clinical, research and teaching hospitals, treating more than 700,000 patients annually from across western and northern Canada. The UofA Hospital is clinical strong in the areas of pediatric anesthesia, regional anesthesia, acute and chronic pain management, neuroanesthesia and cardiac anesthesia.

WestView Health Centre

The WestView Health Centre in Stony Plain, 30 kilometres west of Edmonton, has inpatient beds, and beds for seniors care. The Centre provides acute care, continuing care, 24-hour emergency services, diagnostic imaging, lab services, day surgery, public health, environmental health, community care, rehabilitation services, preventative dental health and mental health.
