The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation is committed to supporting the physical, mental and social well-being of students, staff, and community members through recreation, sport, and physical activity. We strive to deliver programs and services that support personal development, create community connectedness, strengthen places and spaces, and build healthier policies on our campus. Together, with other wellness providers on campus, our collective goal is to foster a healthy working, learning, and living environments for students, faculty, and staff, in accordance with the Healthy University Strategic Plan.

Wellnes 101 Course

Wellness 101

Campus & Community Recreation will be offering a free online non-credit course for U of A Students called Wellness 101.

This course will consist of 8 modules; one module will be released each month. In this course, you will have the opportunity to examine aspects of healthy living such as nutrition, physical activity, and stress management and will learn about the health and wellness resources available to you on the U of A campus.

How to enroll: You can access the course through self-enrollment online starting October 5, 2020.
