On September 6-8, 2015, Dr Sean Bagshaw (Critical Care Medicine, University of Alberta) along with colleagues: Dr Claudio Ronco (Nephrology, San Bortolo Hospital, Vicenza, Italy), Dr Stuart Goldstein (Nephrology, Cincinnati Children's Medical Centre, USA) and Dr John Kellum (Critical Care Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, USA) co-chaired the Acute Dialysis Quality Initiative (ADQI) XV Consensus Conference: Acute Kidney Injury in the Era of Big Data in Banff, Alberta, Canada. This conference brought together 26 experts from around the world and across specialties. Delegates are now working on manuscripts and an overall consensus paper.
