This award is granted to the best research done while the applicant is a trainee of any kind doing Hematology research (science or clinical), finished the project, produced a manuscript which is at least submitted if not accepted for publication. It is named after the Division of Hepatology's recently retired Dr. Mant who donated a sum of money to encourage trainee research.
