Admission Requirements


In order to be considered for laddering into the MES program, you must meet the following minimum criteria:

  1. A four-year baccalaureate degree from a recognized university with a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on the 4.0 grade-point scale) or 6.5 (on the 9 grade-point scale) over the last 60 credits of course work.
    Note: For lower GPAs, admission may be granted based on work experience - see Guidelines for Considering Life Achievement.

  2. A completed Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies - Mentoring and Leadership.

  3. Two years of teaching experience.
