I was born in a small town in southern British Columbia and grew up surrounded by community and family values. After moving to my grandparents’ farm near Brooks, Alberta, I discovered my passion for the Franco-Albertan community. I attended École le Ruisseau, where I deepened my love for the French language and became actively involved in youth organizations.

Over the years, I served seven terms on the board of Francophonie jeunesse de l’Alberta, including two years as president. I also held leadership roles in the Parlement Franco-Canadien de Nord et de l’Ouest and Fédération de la Jeunesse Canadienne-Française, representing young francophones provincially and nationally.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Alberta, Campus Saint-Jean, where I also studied Indigenous law, history, and contemporary issues. During my studies, I held the title of VP External within the Students’ Union of CSJ and was very involved in student life. In my last year, I organized the first Indigenous Celebration Week at Campus Saint-Jean, collaborating with Elders to provide an educational and cultural experience for Campus Saint-Jean students and staff.

Today, I work as a Policy Advisor within the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Indigenous Relations, where I bring a reconciliation-focused lens to policy and data analysis. I remain deeply committed to community engagement, francophone advocacy, and advancing truth and reconciliation in public service.
