Master of Science (MSc)

The MSc program is a research-based program to advance your knowledge and skills.

Requirements

An MSc requires a minimum of 18 credits (six single-term courses or equivalent), a thesis, in addition to FGSR’s ethics and professional development requirements. In some areas, an additional 6 credits (two single-term courses or equivalent) more than the minimum are required. 

For the program requirements, candidates should refer to the Department Graduate Studies Handbook from the year in which they are admitted and the FGSR’s Graduate Program Manual.

Length of Program

The maximum time permitted for completion of a Master of Science program is four years from the date of first registration.
