Graduate Programs in History

Thank you for your interest in our PhD and MA programs in History. Our on-line application portal opens on September 15 to accept applications for the following academic year. Please note that there is a $135 CAD application fee.

Information and regulations for applications can be found on the Prospective Students page of the FGSR website. Students will find information on this website about the application process, both the Canadian and International Admissions Protocols, and Tuition and Cost of Living Estimates.

The deadline to apply for the History PhD and MA programs is January 15.

It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that all documents are uploaded on time. To meet respective deadlines, we strongly encourage you to have all of your documents ready to upload at the time that you access your on-line application. No action will be taken on applications until all documents have been uploaded and the application fee ($135 CAD) has been paid.
