It is with heavy hearts the family of Betty Yellowlees announce her passing on November 4, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Betty passed away in peace, grace, and dignity surrounded by love and admiration with her family by her side.
She will be forever be remembered by her husband, Norm, they were together for 35 years; her children: Sandii Imperato, James Florchyk, and Sharyn Fraser; stepson Richard (Susan) Yellowlees; grandchildren: Kristen, Carmen, Kaitlyn, Shaylynn, Jonathan, and Jessica.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Betty's name may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
Betty Yellowlees retired from the department in 1992. At that time Betty was the Assistant Chair (Administration). She worked at the University from 1978-1992.
