Two faculty members have just been awarded very prestigious awards.

Dr. Connie Lebrun was selected by the American College of Sports Medicine to receive one of its prestigious Citation Awards for 2010.

The Citation Award, one of two major recognition awards by the College, "is granted to an individual or group who has made significant and important contributions to sports medicine and/or the exercise sciences. Contributions may include research and scholarship, clinical care, administrative or educational service in sports medicine or exercise science."
Connie says she's delighted, but truly humbled by being selected for such high honour by her peers.

Connie's award speaks to her wealth of experience, gleaned over a long and successful career in sports medicine, and to her considerable contribution to knowledge in her field that's garnered well-deserved international recognition by her peers.
