SLIS Student Wins Major Scholarship and University Award

Congratulations to second-year SLIS student Bethany MacCallum who received notice this week that she has received a Walter H Johns Graduate Fellowship (valued at $5,253) in recognition of having won a Joseph - Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship Master's SSHRC (valued at $17,500).

Congratulations to second-year SLIS student Bethany MacCallum who received notice this week that she has received a Walter H Johns Graduate Fellowship (valued at $5,253) in recognition of having won a Joseph - Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship Master's SSHRC (valued at $17,500).

Bethany, who is co-chair of the Forum for Information Professionals at SLIS, plans to write a thesis on moral ambiguity, young adult novelists, and new media.
