Overview

What the Program has to offer:

  • A 1-credit winter term preparation course and a 2-credit spring study tour to learn about the history, culture, and economic development of Estonia
  • Term Preparation Course: This course provides the necessary preparation for the Estonia Study Tour course; taught as an online module-based course with some scheduled face-to-face meetings on the Augustana Campus
  • Study Tour: A two-week study trip to Estonia, in the course of which students will be able to take part in the International Summer Program offered by the University of Tartu and classes led by Augustana instructors.
  • The program includes lectures in a number of disciplines, as well as visits to historical sites and business in Estonia and in the neighboring Baltic countries and Finland. Students will gain a better understanding of the history and economic development of the region
