Last year the department of Anthropology renamed two of its collections the Bryan / Gruhn Archaeology and the Bryan / Gruhn Ethnographic Collections to honour founding curators and longtime donors, Professors Emeriti, Drs. Alan Bryan and Ruth Gruhn. In April we erected plaques outside the two collections and Dr Gruhn and the collection curators (Pamela Willoughby and Pamela Mayne Correia) participated in short unveiling ceremonies.
