Mitch Mitchell Prize Winner at the Boston Printmakers Biennial Exhibit

Mitch Mitchell, a graduate of the University of Alberta Department of Art and Design (MFA 2009), has been awarded The Otis Philbrick Memorial Prize at the Boston Printmakers Biennial, a prize that includes a purchase award and inclusion of the work in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Mitch Mitchell, a graduate of the University of Alberta Department of Art and Design (MFA 2009), has been awarded The Otis Philbrick Memorial Prize from the Boston Printmakers Biennial, one of the largest and longest running independent print organizations in North America. Founded in 1954, the Boston Printmakers Biennial brings in a special guest juror to judge the works, this year's being the noted American artist Jim Dine. Mitchell's prize includes a purchase award and the inclusion of his work in the collection of the prestigious Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
