Current Art and Design graduate student Matthew Arrigo has had work accepted in the prestigious International Print Centre New York's (IPCNY) New Prints 2011/Summer exhibition. The exhibition includes 83 prints by 76 artists, selected from a pool of over 1,900 submissions. Internationally known American artist Trenton Doyle Hancock was the sole juror for this show, continuing IPCNY's tradition of inviting an individual artist to select one New Prints show each season. Centennial Professor Sean Caulfield, a faculty member in the Department of Art and Design, points out the importance of Arrigo's achievement as this is an extremely competitive exhibition.
