Google Sheet Settings

This section of the configuration contains information about which Google Spreadsheet to connect to and which sheet to pull information from.

Important: The account webstrat@ualberta.ca needs to have read access to the Google Spreadsheet used for this Filterable Sortable Data List or the FSDL cannot retrieve any data to display.

Google Spreadsheet ID

This is the unique ID for the Google spreadsheet.

This ID can be found in the URL to the Google spreadsheet. In this example the ID is bolded:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ 1a_VAK2U3b_5p_kPyLZASDoW_wTsnSe1MP5nRUS-j9JM/edit#gid=0

Copy that section of the URL and paste it into this field to define which Google Sheet to use for the FSDL.

Sheet Name

Enter name of the specific sheet that contains the data in this field . Often this will be "Sheet1" as that is the default name for the first sheet in Google Sheets.

Important: If the sheet name is changed this field must also be updated to reflect that change.
