27th Alberta District Japanese Speech Contest

We are proud to announce that ten U of A students competed in the 27th Alberta District Japanese Speech Contest at the University of Calgary on March 10th. All students gave their best speeches and impressed the audience. Seven students were placed within the top three of their respective category. Among them are Seunghyun Lee and Mingxue (Mei) Nan who won first place in the beginner and advanced categories, respectively. They will give their speeches again in the National Japanese Speech Contest here at the U of A on Saturday, March 24th commencing at 1pm at the Telus Centre Auditorium.
