93rd TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) on April 13, 2024

We are pleased to announce that the 93rd TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) will be held at the University of Alberta for all students interested in certifying their proficiency in the Korean language. This standardized test is an excellent opportunity to assess your language skills and gain recognition for your proficiency. Below are the details concerning the examination:

Exam Date: April 13, 2024

Test Level: TOPIK I – Students who are are currently enrolled in Korea 102 or 202 classes

                   TOPIK II - Students who are are currently enrolled in Korea 302 or 402 classes
                   

 *Korea 300 & 400 level Students have the option to choose either level based on their comfort and proficiency.

Application Process:

To register for the TOPIK, please follow these steps:

1. Please visit the official TOPIK registration website to obtain detailed information.
2. Prepare your application package and submit it to your Korean instructor in class or Jinmi Kwon (jinmi@ualberta.ca) by January 26, 2024.            
Your application package should include the following items:
a. Application form
b. Two sheets of colour ID photos (3x4 cm). 
c. A copy of your ID (passport or driver's license or student ID).
d. Application fee: $40 for TOPIK I, $50 for TOPIK II 
3. Mailing Address: If you choose to submit your package on your own, the mailing address is as follows.
