Dr. Narmin Kassam
The Chair of the Department of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta provides overall leadership for the department’s clinical, research, and education missions, setting strategy, supporting faculty, and advancing departmental excellence. In partnership with Alberta Health Services, the Chair also helps oversee patient care delivery across the Edmonton Corridor and works to strengthen collaboration, innovation, and quality improvement.
Division Directors
Our division directors provide leadership for their specialty division’s academic mission, including faculty recruitment, research, education, and strategic planning. They also work with clinical leaders to strengthen patient care, foster collaboration, and guide the division’s long-term growth and excellence.
