2023 CLC Kreisel Lecture with Wayde Compton

The 2023 CLC Kreisel Lecture with multi-disciplinary writer, historian, and editor Wayde Compton will take place on Wednesday, March 8. This pay-what-you-can event starts at 7:30 pm at the Timms Centre for the Arts.
In his talk, “Toward an Anti-Racist Poetics,” Compton will explore how we might collectively develop a poetic approach that makes space for diversity by doing away with universalism in both lyric and avant-garde verse.
