Brenda Hemmelgarn’s term as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry will end on December 31, 2024 and she has indicated she would like to seek a second term. In accordance with University Procedure, a Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry Review Committee will be established to begin its work.

We are also seeking input from the community on the key areas of responsibility held by Brenda Hemmelgarn, as well as on the leadership she has provided to the faculty over the last five years.
