Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Grand Rounds

With a lot of hard work and enthusiasm by our multidisciplinary Grand Rounds Committee, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Grand Rounds will be starting up again soon. These virtual Zoom Webinar Grand Rounds are scheduled for the third Tuesday of the month starting in April 2021 from 11:00 am – noon. We have speakers scheduled for April 20, May 18 and June 15 before breaking for the summer and then restarting in the fall. Specifics about the topics and the speakers will be sent out soon. Your engagement in these Rounds would be appreciated, as we want to develop a community of practice in addition to these Rounds being of high educational value.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Grand Rounds are part of the Continuing Professional Development program in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, and accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. CAP Grand Rounds are an integral function of the Department of Psychiatry.

Faculty, national and international visiting speakers, residents and graduate students present on a wide variety of topics in and related to psychiatry. Many of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Grand Rounds presentations are recorded, edited and posted on the Department of Psychiatry website.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Grand Rounds presentations will be recorded and can be accessed by a link provided by the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry Office of Lifelong Learning (L3) when the participant registers for the Rounds.
