2020 Summer Sport Camps

In light of recent information released by the Government of Alberta regarding guidelines for day camp programs that limit group sizes and physical contact, it is clear that we will not be able to operate Green & Gold Sport Camps as planned.

While we are disappointed to have to cancel our camps, we are working on modifying our programming so that we can help kids explore, engage and excel in sport this summer.

Our Green & Gold Sport Camps are offered through the months of July and August. We follow the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) framework to organize and plan our programs. The LTAD Stages are used to group participants into general developmental categories by age. Along with sport-specific skills, the development of Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) and life-skills are a focus for each camp.

Multi-sport involvement throughout the development stages will support athletes' sport-specific pursuits. This process is designed to give young athletes the opportunity to systematically explore, engage and excel in a variety of sports.
