SJC has signed a significant new agreement with the Edmonton Catholic School District. The ECSD now recognizes SJC's Certificate in Catholic Education as a hiring asset, meaning that students who have completed the certificate will have a significant advantage when being considered for employment by ECSD.
The Certificate in Catholic Education consists of four 3-credit U of A courses:
1. The Bible: An Introduction (CHRTC 100)
2. The Theological Education of the Catholic Teacher (CHRTC 250)
3. Teaching Religion: Elementary (CHRTC 380)
OR
Teaching Religion: Secondary (CHRTC 381)
4. Integrated Learning Experience (CHRTC 410)
