Health Ethics Symposium 2023

symposium 2023

About:

What are unique ethical considerations for those who practice in rural and/or remote areas? Can we speak of an inimitable ethics to the practice of medicine, nursing, or other health discipline in such contexts? How can traditional ethical theories and approaches be enhanced by embracing a rural perspective? The purpose of this symposium is to explore the topics related to health ethics in rural and remote contexts. Speakers will include Christy Simpson, Fiona McDonald, Jill Konkin, with panelists Tracey Bailey, Kevin Yang, and Ashraf Aborawi.
