On behalf of the Department of Oncology, University of Alberta, we are very pleased to congratulate Dr. John Mackey, Professor, Division of Medical Oncology and Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Unit of the Cross Cancer Institute, for receiving national recognition of his innovative contributions to cancer clinical trials, including pre-Phase I studies, by his election as a 2018 Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Dr. Mackey was inducted on September 14, 2018.
