Dr. Charles Butts Receives the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal

Congratulations Dr. Charles Butts!
To mark the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada, a new commemorative medal has been created. The Platinum Jubilee Medal is a tangible way for Albertans to honor Her Majesty’s service to Canada and will be awarded to 7,000 Albertans in recognition of their significant contributions to the province, including many Alberta Health Services employees. Cancer Care Alberta is proud and privileged to recognize our own Dr. Charles Butts who was the recipient of the medal on February 27, 2023.
