Innovative Teaching

Our Faculty enriches the student experience by providing the most effective learning environment.

As a research-intensive university, we support evidence-based practices and a balanced education that includes quality learning in the classroom and lab as well as hands-on experience through clinical placements and student clinics. We also adopt teaching technology that has been proven to be effective, including simulation labs, e-learning and state-of-the-art clinical equipment. Our synchronized distance learning technology allows our students to train through lectures and labs across two campuses in Edmonton and Calgary.

We are committed to ensuring our students are fully prepared for practice. Innovative teaching involves reaching out and providing rehabilitation services and education. It happens through student engagement and sharing knowledge with established clinical professionals.
